인물소개

뮤지컬 배우. 2008년 뮤지컬 <South Pacific>에서 루더 빌리스 역으로 드라마데스크 어워드와 비평가협회 어워드에서 남우조연상을 수상하였다. 그는 <Drowsy Chaperone>으로 2006년 토니어워드에 노미네이트 되었다.

뉴욕 출생. 예술고등학교와 퀸스 컬리지를 졸업하였다. 1990년 샌디에고 캘리포니아 대학을 졸업하였으며 여배우인 레베카 루커와 결혼하였다.

번스타인의 첫 번째 뮤지컬 작품은 <The Music Man>으로 코러스로 참여하였다. 브로드웨이에서는 <A Little Hotel on the Side, 1992>, <The Seagull, 1992-1993>, <Saint Joan>, <Three Men on a Horse, 1993>, <Company, 1995>, <Titanic, 1997-1999>, <The Drowsy Chaperone, 2006-2007>, <South Pacific, 2008-2009>에 출연하였다.

오프브로드웨이 작품으로는 <Mrs. Famsworth>와 <I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change>, <Merrily We Roll Along>, <The Rothschilds>, <A Class Act>, <Dubarry Was a Lady>, <The Boys from Syracuse> 등에 출연하였다.
