반세기의 역사와 권위를 자랑하는 영국 리즈 국제 피아노 콩쿠르에서 2위 및 오케스트라 특별상을 수상한 피아니스트 김희재는 부산예술고등학교 졸업 후 한국예술종합학교에 진학하여 뛰어난 피아니스트들을 대거 배출한 강충모 교수의 문하생으로 본격적인 피아니스트의 길을 걷게 된다. 이후 도독하여 라이프치히 국립음대(Hochschule fur Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’’ Leipzig)에서 독일 라이프치히 국제 바흐 콩쿠르의 우승자인 게랄드 파우트(Gerald Fauth) 교수의 지도 아래 석사과정(Master of Music)을 우등으로 졸업했..
