1990년 BBC 드라마 <The Silver Chair>에 출연하여 잘 알려졌고, 이후 <Pie in the Sky>, <Foyle’s War>, <The Inspector Lynley Mysteries> 등에 출연하였다.

연극 1992년 셰익스피어의 연극 <As You Like It>에 출연하였고, <Macbeth>의 투어공연에 참여하였으며, 1993/1994년 <The Blues Brothers>에 출연하였다. 이후 TV 영화, 드라마에 출연하였으며, BBC2의 영화 <Can You Hear Me Thinking?>, 드라마 <Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit>에 출연하였다.

리버풀 플레이하우스에서 버밍험 레퍼토리 씨어터와 폴카 씨어터, 아비농과 함께 연극 작업을 하였다. 2002년 뮤지컬 <Anything Goes!> 국내투어에 출연하였다. 2004년 로렌스 올리비에 씨어터 어워드에서 뮤지컬 <Pacific Overture>로 남우조연상에 노미네이트 되었다.

2006년 <The Lord of the Rings>에 메리 역으로 출연하여 웨스트엔드에서 공연하였다.
